I am posting here because I recently had an issue with my 2006 IS 250, where one day my rear carpets were soaking in water after using the A/C. I went online and found the DIY pdf. from Lexus and it requires you to disassemble many parts and lower the transmission about 40mm just to get to the drain. Well just to see if I could avoid doing all the steps above, I used the diagram to locate the drain and reached with my hand and behold I was able to loosen the drain enough where water started to gush out. So before you try and disassemble all the parts or take it to a mechanic, try and see if you can reach it yourself. Took me about 10 mins to jack up the driverside front and locate the drain. Just make sure your car is cooled down because I did burn my forearm locating the drain. Good luck and hope I was some help to anyone.
